Malinda Sapp's Funeral

Funeral of an angel : MaLinda Sapp Sep 9,2010 has become the witness of yet another tragidy. GOD called a noble soul ,an angel MaLinda Sapp,wife of gospel singer Marvin Sapp departed to earth and peacefully went to heaven on thursday at the age of 43.She was fighting against colon cancer.She was psychologist, counselor and college professor.She was a dynamic speaker. Dr. MaLinda was a wonderful women of God and she touched not just her family but many people lives.She was the wife of an incredible man.MaLinda devoted her life for youth emergence. She had left three children, a son and a cute couple of daughters named as Marvin II, Mikaila and Madisson respectively. The Resurrection Life Church in Grand Rapids, Michigan was the witness of the funeral of a great soul on thursday Sep 16,2010.Her husband Marvin Sapp gave a tribute to her by performing at the funeral.Thousands of grievers came to the Resurrection church to say last goodbye to the founder of the litehouse full life center church. There was nobody which has dry eye.The funeral was full of shouts, sorrow and emotional tributes.Funeral was attended by thousands supporters and watched by hundred thousands online viewers.The four hours long ceremony included performance from gospel music artists Karen clark and Donnie McClurkin. In the co-occurences, there were many luminaries, Gospel music celebrities, community leaders, church members, family members and friends.The President of the service was Pastor Marvin Winans, who was one of the closest friends of MaLinda.Bishop IV Hilliard of New Light Center Christian Church,Houston delivered a great eulogy.Eulogy included "She has got a promotion, and we're not going to deny her"."GOD is able to bring comfort through the prayers of his people." Marvin Sapp gave a tribute to MaLinda and sang a song "here I am." Some gospel music artists like Darrell Hines, Jonathan Dunn, Rance Allen, Israel Houghton sung few touching lines in the memory of MaLinda.The weepy and sensitive observance had very touching and heart taking moments when MaLinda's daughters read the poem “Footprints In The Sand” to tribute their mother. Jesse Jackson also tried to quilt to Marvin by saying "God bless you and keep the hope alive.You have to live for your child." Barronnece Prince, MaLinda's mother also gave an emotional tribute to her daughter and said that this was the time that no mother in this world would want to see.It was a most painful moment for a mother.She was thankful to attendees and requested to pray for her daughter. In the end Sharon Hill, the church member, who came in funeral with her family said that MaLinda was trualy a gift of God. An memorable fund has been made for the youth welfare in the memory of MaLinda Sapp and requested to everyone that please continue to pray for peace and quilt for her family as we know that they are going through a great loss.
